Back in 2014, AND Digital founder, Paramjit Uppal, recognised that companies need to accelerate their digital capability to compete and win in the tech based economy.
He realised the old ways of outsourcing, consulting, training houses and digital agencies were not the solution. Trying to hire everyone and keeping them skilled and motivated was also not sustainable for most companies. A new way was needed - combining permanent skilled team members and a focused partner, providing the best of both in one seamless and simplified experience.
Paramjit also recognised the world of agile product development was the future but also very immature for most enterprises, often the case of “the blind leading the blind” and just not enough professionals to meet the growing demand for digital skills.
Finally, having grown one consulting business and seeing the challenges that scale brings for its people and its clients, Paramjit wanted to shake up the rules for building professional service company that can be big AND yet feel small.
The challenge was set to build a remarkable company. Hello AND Digital.

Our ANDis are part of small teams, which we call Squads. Each Squad has a Squad Lead and a mix of developers and analysts, from junior to very experienced. Six Squads, some specialist roles and the leadership team make what we call a Club. Each Club is autonomous, personable, based in its own space, and totally focused on its people and clients. This pioneering approach allows us to feel small, celebrate our quirky individuality and continue to grow at pace! We like this approach so much that we name each Club after a ground-breaking “pioneer”.
