AND Digital’s European Expansion Begins With New Amsterdam Club
AND Digital is delighted to announce the upcoming launch of its first club in Amsterdam, Netherlands - and with it, the start of its wider expansion across the Benelux region.
News of the exciting launch marks the next stage in AND’s remarkable growth journey - a journey that despite the challenges of 2020 and 2021, shows no signs of slowing down.
Since its inception six years ago, AND has grown to around 1,000 strong, and operates across 11 locations in the UK. With a strong people-first reputation and focus, AND has appeared on The Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies list for a number of consecutive years, and is currently ranked 10th best company to work for in the UK. Its rapid growth has also been widely recognised, and the company was recently listed 24th on the FT Top 1000 fastest growing companies in Europe.
The Amsterdam move itself is underpinned by what the company refers to as its BHAG2025 - a Big, Hairy, Audacious Goal - to make a remarkable impact globally. And this goal couldn’t be more timely, with the European Commission announcing its Digital Europe agenda in December 2020, promising around €7.5 billion to drive the post-covid recovery and digital transformation of Europe.
With its entrepreneurial reputation and thriving tech community, Amsterdam is the ideal destination for the company’s first club outside the UK and in the Netherlands. Opening in May 2021, the company plans to recruit an initial 50 digital and technology professionals in Amsterdam, growing to a further 400+ people over the next few years as AND expands across the Benelux region.
First in the Dutch team is Jeroen Kleinhoven, former Head of Digital Products at Evalueserve, who brings a wealth of knowledge and an impressive network to AND Digital. His regional expertise and deep understanding of the tech space puts him in a strong position to lead the team. “Never has there been a better time to focus on delivering both nimble digital products at scale and upskilling in-house teams. My mission will be to extend the fantastic work AND Digital does in the UK to the Benelux region, helping accelerate organisations as they build innovative products for themselves, and develop their own critical digital capabilities,” he commented.
Meanwhile, AND’s Founder and Foodie, Paramjit Uppal, remarked: “Today marks an incredible milestone for us as we take our first step outside the UK.
