As a QA Lead, you will be a champion of testing, coordinating with product experts and developers in an Agile environment. As a result, you will need to be able to:

  • Work with the Practice Leads on developing and rolling out QA ways of working aligned to portfolio ways of working.

  • Work with other practice leads on developing QA methods that are aligned to their practice areas.

  • Develop and roll out the QA strategy and associated frameworks.

  • Develop QA measures and processes around testing prep, execution and defects in an innovative manner to meet project \ client needs.

  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.

  • Develop or support the development of comprehensive and well-structured test strategies and plans.

  • Ensure functional and non-functional plans are in place and executed as required.

  • Coach and develop more junior staff to ensure all of our people develop professionally and technically, maintaining the high standards we have as a team.

  • Maintain your skills as a top flight tester by keeping them up to date with current standards and trends in the industry.

  • Collaborate effectively with people across the company to ensure the successful transition of our services through the lifecycle and into production.

  • Serve as a senior member of our ‘practice group’, a team of subject matter specialists acting as mentor and leadership for the rest of our club.

  • A significant automation experience coding and maintaining automation scripts.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience of working in multiple work streams in complex Agile environments.

  • Experience in Agile, Waterfall and DevOps.

  • Strong experience with a variety of automation tools and frameworks.

  • Extensive knowledge of, or experience in, a range of types of non-functional testing.

  • Consulting or professional service experience.

  • Experience in coaching and mentoring your colleagues and peers.

  • The ability to work with one or multiple clients.

  • Strong project management skills.
