As a Design Lead, you will have full ownership of the UX/UI function, coordinating with product experts and developers in an agile environment. As a result, you will need to be able to:
Able to define and guide on best practice research and experience design methodology
You will be an ambassador on user experience and visual design, supporting the creative direction and vision within our fast-growing design function.
Shape and deliver internal communication and training, establishing best practice and common methodologies across UX/UI at AND.
Support the development of design skills in the Club by coaching a small number of growing talents and contributing to internal communities of practice.
Be client-facing delivery with a mix of advising, implementing and delivering, sometimes across multiple clients.
Serve a senior member of our ‘practice group’, a team of subject matter specialists acting as mentor and leadership for the rest of our club.
7+ years of user research or UX/UI design experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Experience of working in multiple work streams in complex agile environments.
Validated knowledge and experience of applying brands to digital platforms.
Strong visual and brainstorming skills, with the ability to confidently sketch interfaces in cross-functional collaborative teams.
Mobile, web and responsive environment experience.
Knowledge of prototyping and design tools such as Sketch, Marvel, Invision.
Demonstrable experience delivering B2B and B2C UX and/or UI for dashboards, control panels and management applications.
Consulting or professional service experience.
