Corporate Development Analyst

As a Corporate Development Analyst, you will bring your corporate and investment finance experience to this small function in a business with big plans and the appetite to deliver them. As a result, you will need to be able to:
Support the development of growth investment cases and maintain on-going review of the post implementation performance of those cases
Develop and maintain 3 and 5 year financial plans in close coordination with the Finance team
Maintain valuation models, cost of finance models and line-of-business template models
Coordinate activity with internal teams during transaction execution and due diligence processes
Coordinate process update meetings
Manage Q&A and data room processes
Support other teams with corporate setup (incorporation, local advisory services, tax and banking services) for new subsidiaries and group holding entities across Europe and North America
Assist in the definition of ongoing corporate governance of subsidiaries and their growing operational requirements to drive shareholder value
Support communications, shareholder updates to our board and valuations of our growing number of small equity investments (usually also clients of our business)
Undertake market, competitor and sources of funds analysis
Prepare board and management packs on Corporate Development activities and plans
Experience in an investment bank, an accounting firm’s M&A execution team or a corporate development / M&A role
A good understanding of professional services business model a benefit
Analytical mindset with string attention to detail
Strong ability in Excel and PowerPoint (although we actually use Google Sheets & Slides)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Commercial awareness and strategic thinking ability
Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
