As a Benelux Executive, you’ll be one of AND’s very first recruits in the Netherlands and, as a result, will be an integral part of our expansion plans - first into the Netherlands and then the wider Benelux market. You will initially be involved in the set up and mobilisation of all elements of our first new club in Amsterdam, which you will scale quickly.
When fully formed, each AND club has 80-90 client-facing professional staff, organised into six squads of 12 people with a fixed blend of technical/product skills and experience, plus a small leadership team. Your first task is to get this club to maturity quickly, in line with the AND playbook, ways of working and culture, and then look beyond Amsterdam. We have big ambitions to establish, grow and operate multiple clubs across the region, and you will play a key leadership role in making that happen.
During the first six months, you’ll be a key member of our launch team actively involved in:
Recruiting the in-country leadership and Hub Tenzing team (central services team), who will in turn recruit 80-90 new ANDis into our first club.
Setting up our pipeline to secure the portfolio of clients.
Developing and implementing our marketing propositions for the Dutch market, both for branding, clients and recruitment.
Building winning people propositions and set up onboarding inline with the overall AND people proposition.
Implementing the AND ways of working and our strong culture.
Scaling the new club to maturity quickly, putting in place the supporting central capabilities, financial and administrative controls and then handing over to the Club Leadership team.
As a result, your focus will be:
The successful launch of our first club in the Netherlands (revenue of €10-12m once fully scaled, portfolio of 4-12 clients).
Establishing the Benelux Hub Services team and infrastructure, charged with paving the way for future clubs.
Building client relationships and closing our first few clients in conjunction with our the Client Partnership Executive (to be recruited).
Acting as in-country general manager.
Once the first Club is launched successfully, shifting focus to launching new clubs across the region.
The ideal candidate is somebody who is a market-facing technology/business transformation leader in the delivery of digital initiatives. You might come from a strong consulting background or a client-facing role in a technology company. You will be hands-on and able to get things done through the team.
You are entrepreneurial, willing to roll up your sleeves to face the challenges posed by a start up, and sufficiently resilient and able to scale the organisation through its fast growth cycle. You are able to distill what really matters and build trust amongst clients, partners and most importantly our own ANDis.
You will be well wired into the Dutch digital/tech scene, able to provide strong thought leadership and shaping of key tech and digital transformation agendas at CXO level. You’re a strong communicator and someone who can blend the entrepreneurial start-up mindset alongside the well structured and proven playbook for clubs and the AND op model.
Director level with a professional services background.
Track-record of working at CXO level, particularly able to relate and work with CIO/CTO/CDO/CMOs.
Conversant level on relevant concepts such as Agile, design, development, DevOps, marketing, org design/skills, etc.
Experience in digital/tech from strategy to delivery.
Understands and is able to navigate broader enterprise culture, needs and challenges.
Experience in leading, managing and growing key client relationships.
Experience in leading/managing people, particularly diverse developers and juniors.
Charismatic and contagious about work, naturally inspiring.
Good writer and presenter, able to clearly express complex thoughts.
