This an opportunity to to grow and manage your own team, budget  and oversee the success of a brand new department from a Service Management, Internal Product Development, maintenance, Security/compliance and Cloud Management perspective.

Tech is at the heart of what we do, so this role will also focus on being innovative with new tech, working with savvy tech users and advising the business accordingly.


The department is divided in 4 main functions:

  • Tech support (help desk, support,  laptop set up and maintenance, asset management…)
  • Tech delivery ( maintain current software and apps, develop new features and new products,…)
  • Tech management (budget, roadmap, team , governance, suppliers,…)
  • Security and Compliance


Am I right for the job?


You will have probably worked within an IT department before where you have managed a team, maintained products and apps, managed the build of new features and actively sought out better solutions. You will still understand what it means to get your hands dirty and be ok about doing that whilst your team scales.


You’ll have collaborated with Heads of Tech, understand their points of view, and understand what it means to get your hands dirty.


Innovative as well as a strong operator, You’ll naturally be on the lookout for new tech and solutions, have an understanding of how security could be improved and challenge what we’re doing now.


Your day to day:


  • Plan, organize and maintain IT operations
  • Build IT team by recruiting, training, and coaching them
  • Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
  • Manage our corporate software, internal apps and hardware estate, contracts and licences
  • Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
  • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
  • Provide L1 to L3 users support for hardware, network and software, user training, support, advice and feedback
  • Set-up and configure laptops for new joiners
  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
  • Keeping up to date with new technology



  • Proven working experience as an IT manager or relevant experience
  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
  • Expertise in G-Suite administration
  • Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
  • Coding experience
  • Bachelor’ Degree in Computer Science or related field
