How we work:

We work in an Agile environment adopting Agile and Lean principles and values throughout the software delivery lifecycle. We are an ambassador on engineering and delivery best practices – coaching Clients and our people on Scrum, Kanban, Product Ownership, Agile analysis, Continuous Improvement and the successful delivery of value to customers.


Your role:

AND Digital continues to grow! So, we have an exciting opportunity for a Coach to provide coaching and support to delivery team members (internal and external) in the application of agile delivery practices.

What you’ll be doing

  • Coaching team members in agile delivery practices in line with the AND Digital approach.
  • Coaching for individuals and groups in order to improve the overall team’s performance.
  • Provide support for team members to deliver business requirements and outcomes.
  • Coaching and support for management teams on client sites.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with your clients across all levels, including team level and exec level.
  • Support the Head of Coaching with client engagements.
  • Support the running of the AND Digital Communities of Practice.
  • Develop materials for Communities of Practice, Blogs and AND Digital up-skilling/training sessions.
  • Deliver 1 to 1 and group upskilling/training sessions.
  • Conduct regular agile reviews of teams, providing real time and summary feedback.
  • Demonstrate an advanced understanding of software delivery processes and delivery methodologies.
  • Act as a senior member of your respective Club to help set up, kick off and organise teams in the most effective way.

Must-haves

  • Scrum certification (CSM, PSM1 or better)
  • At least five years working in agile software delivery teams in any role.
  • Experience as a Scrum Master or Agile lead in a software delivery team.
  • Experience of XP practices, Behaviour Driven Development and Test Driven Development.
  • Experience of Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and Deployment techniques.
  • Experience coaching teams and individuals to improve performance.
  • Can demonstrate awareness of others’ views, motivations and thoughts through active listening techniques.
  • Able to motivate and inspire others within their role, team and client.
  • Excellent written communication and analytical skills required.
  • Experienced communicator and facilitator of large groups.
  • Must be able to easily grasp and communicate complex ideas.
  • Able to maintain a high degree of customer / client / sponsor satisfaction and professionalism.

  • Coaching experience across multiple agile teams and at Exec level
  • Leadership across multiple teams
  • Large scale Agile transformation experience
  • Recent experience in a Senior Developer or Tech Lead role.
  • Kanban certification and experience
  • Consultancy/professional services experience
