Mental health matters: How to combat loneliness in a hybrid workplace
Understand how you can combat loneliness, bring your teams together & champion good mental health in the workplace, or in your personal life
For many people, their ways of working have evolved greatly over the last few years, bringing with it a new, hybrid approach to the workplace.
But with this comes a new set of challenges for mental health, and a need to re-examine how we view mental health in the workplace.
This year, mental health week is exploring the experience of loneliness, its effect on our mental health and how we can all play a part in reducing loneliness in our communities.
Loneliness affects millions of people in the UK every year, and is a key contributor to poor mental health. The COVID pandemic has only exacerbated this, with isolation and a reduced ability to connect with others having a devastating impact, leading to higher levels of distress.
With that in mind, it’s no surprise that loneliness is one of the leading issues that the public feel needs to be addressed.
At AND Digital, we are passionate about making sure our team’s mental health is at the forefront of our minds. We acknowledge that this new way of working has impacted people in many different ways.
