Location: Cloud 23 Bar, Hilton Hotel, 303 Deansgate, Manchester, M3 4LQ
Our guest speaker, Rob Fraser started his technology career in 1985 as a trainee programmer at Marks and Spencer, and has over 30 years’ experience in Retail Technology, Consulting and Advisory roles. In 2014, he switched focus to work with a number of technology start-up firms including EnVirtual, Taskr, E Fundamentals and HubBox (where he is now Chairman). Alongside these start-up roles, he has been working with large organisations to help them understand the start-up “mindset” and adopt key elements of the start-up approach. He has written and presented extensively on the digital imperative.
Rob will lead a high tempo, informative and interactive discussion on Digital 2.0 - The next stage of building digital capability in the enterprise. The first moving companies are now done with jumping in feet first, creating big waves in IT and marketing functions. Rob will talk about the next wave of a more balanced approach that recognises the need to do both exciting new agile development and the traditional IT to keep the tills running and smooth supply chain operations.
The breakfast will run from 8.15 - 10.30am at the stunning venue of Cloud 23 Bar, Hilton Hotel, 303 Deansgate, Manchester, M3 4LQ
