“Affordable Luxury, Now, Please” – How to delight the unreasonable consumer
Location: ASOS Greater London House, Hampstead Rd, London, NW1 7FB
Sharon is currently Product Director at Bloom & Wild, where they're building best-in-class user experience and technology that powers flower delivery. It’s a cool idea – beautiful flowers through the letterbox, ordered in under a minute via your digital device of choice.
Sharon has worked for both small and large organisations, across a variety of sectors. She's interested in how people think, feel and do, and applying this to the design of technology, products and services that solve genuine problems and user needs.
In this meetup Sharon will discuss...
- Consumers are increasingly unreasonable, how far do we need to go to delight them (and ultimately win their loyalty - it’s a competitive space!)
- In a world where people want things faster, more personalised and for everything to be available via a single click, user-centred product design is the key to success
- Digital is now a standard tool (for socialising, shopping and sharing) and applying the power of technology to provide a great customer experience is essential
Throughout the session, Sharon will take you through some examples and ideas on how the team at Bloom & Wild (and growing super fast as a result) are doing this.
This will be an informal session, so do come prepared with questions and ready to get involved. As always, there will be plenty of opportunities for networking and plenty of free pizza and beers!
