At AND Digital, one of our three core values is to ‘share’. A fundamental part of this value is to collaborate with both our people and our clients.
We do this in many ways, and I’ve ‘shared’ some of these with you below!
We think this is one of the better ways to learn from others. We’ve set up internal communities for our people to share their domain expertise, discuss important topics and share their project work with one another. We have communities of people who share the same passion and who want to learn from one another in topics such as UX, Agile and Mobile Development. Our developers have even started to share the apps they are building outside of their day job, and sharing their lessons learned. We’re also helping our clients to set up some fantastic communities too.
At AND Digital, we’re obsessed with Meetups! What better way to share, than to listen and interact with people on a topic you’re interested in or passionate about? We publish all the Meetups we are aware of that are happening in the industry on a monthly basis and ad-hoc through our Slack channels, so people can keep up to date with latest happenings. We’ve also started running our own monthly Meet-Up called ANDchat, where we hear from experts with a point of view on a topic and open it up for further discussion and questions. Click here to view our page and join our latest one.
We are encouraged to build and share our networks and make connections outside of AND Digital. Whether that be a referral for a potential employee, someone who could help mentor you, or an external community that could help you learn. Within our ANDAcademy, we share the networks we have built through things such as our CIPD courses, which leads to many introductions, most recently we had an introduction to the Aspire Foundation, a women in leadership group.
It’s good to share – make a start today!
