Moving on up at AND Digital

About a 2 minute read
At the start of October we were pleased to announce that seven of our super smart ANDis have received promotions – That’s just over 10% of the business! From grad level associates making their first step up, to experienced developers making their jump up to the next level – the last round of promotions is definitely one to raise a glass to. We checked in with Evelyn and Gary, two of our latest promotees to ask about their journeys growing within AND Digital.
For Evelyn her progression came from having an initial conversation with her Squad Lead to indicate that she was ready for the next step despite it being only six months since joining. She mentions that “Squad Leads have the opportunity to put forward candidates for progression every quarter. It’s great to have these frequent milestones that you can work towards. I knew if I didn’t progress this time I would have another three months to focus on development areas with the support of my squad lead”.
Evelyn said that her progression from Level 2 Associate (grad level) to Level 3 Product Analyst is an example of AND Digital doing things a little differently – “there are not a lot of companies where you can say that you have had the successful opportunity to progress within the first 6 months. But AND Digital isn’t like a lot of other companies. The focus is on your ability not how long you have been here”.
For Gary, he says that his progression over the last ten months has been down to working with different clients meaning he can hone his technical skills and continue to build exciting and new products. He also puts his successful promotion from Level 2 Associate to Level 3 Product Developer down to “working on internal products like the blog, which means I’ve had the chance to put ideas I’ve had into practice with great support from people in Ground Ops and other squads”.
Another huge congratulations to our latest promotes, and we look forward to hearing how your stories of progression within AND Digital continue!
